The Smetana Hall is a concert hall located inside the Municipal House in Prague. This hall was named as a tribute to Bedřich Smetana, who is considered to be the creator of modern Czech music. The interiors of the hall are elegantly decorated by the works of many legendary artists like Karel Špillar, etc., giving it an aesthetic look. The stage has 18 lift tables which can be used to create a tiered elevation for an orchestra. Major concerts of the Prague Spring are held in Smetana Hall.
