The Best Places to Dance your Heart out
Prague is a historical wonderland by day and a party town by night. The city is home to some of the best nightclubs in Europe. From jazz clubs that take you back to the prohibition era to five-storey clubs, this city has all the action you’ll need.
If you want a sampler of everything the city holds, go for a pub crawl around Prague. Neighbourhoods like Old Town and Malá Strana get lit as night falls and newer areas like Smíchov and Vinohrady are also developing a great party scene.
Lucerna Music Bar
For almost a quarter of a century, Lucerna Music Bar has been playing a vital role in giving exposure to many bands from the Czech Republic and around the world. Famous for its ’80s- and ’90s-themed dance parties, the bar hosts one of the largest dance floors in the city. Both locals and tourists flock to this hip, vibrant location to listen to live music and dance the night away. Local and international artists play here regularly, with past performers including Maceo Parker, Jungle Funk, The Holmes Brothers and Earth, Wind & Fire. Today, Lucerna Music Bar is still renowned for its 80s and 90s pop discos on Friday and Saturday nights. During the week the bar mainly hosts live music.

Karlovy Lázně
Karlovy Lázně is a five-storey nightclub housed in a 15th-century building, making it one of the largest in Central Europe. The massive set up of the club allows it to host several dance floors for different genres of music; perfect for partygoers who can’t agree on what sort of vibes they want. The club plays a little bit of everything, from new-age pop to ’60s rock. Karlovy Lázně has its quirky sides with a robot DJ that performs, also don’t forget to grab a drink from its ice bar. It’s a bit of a tourist trap, so you won't see locals here but, objectively, it’s a pretty damn cool place.

Ace Club
Found right at the heart of Prague, Ace Club offers drinks at surprisingly reasonable prices, drawing in the crowds. Home to DJ Koogee, DJ Maztah, DJ Australan, DJane LuMichell, DJane Battle Lady, you can dance the best of R&B hits all night long. Head to the club on Wednesdays for their themed parties, including Fiesta Latina (a Latin music-infused R&B party), a Ladies’ Night and Swerve Fridays.

Harley’s Bar
Harley’s Bar named after the Harley Davidson motorcycle is perhaps the ‘coolest Hell on earth’. Located centrally, this hip cellar bar is one of the best hangouts for rock music enthusiasts and bikers. The bar features unique decor; a shrine to the history of the motorcycle and the brand. Their unique Jack Daniels bar sees bartenders host exciting bar shows and their heir resident DJs rock hard from dusk till dawn every night. The bar features live music from time to time as well as popular theme parties like miss Cowgirls and Cowboys Party and 80s nights. The venue really takes off after 11pm at night and rocks most nights.
