Signal Festival in Prague
One of the most visited cultural events in the Czech Republic, the Signal Festival is here once again to illuminate the night sky in Prague. Nominated as Europe’s top 10 light art festivals.
This festival of light will once again light up the night sky for four days in October this year. The international light festival takes place in the civic area of the historic centre of Prague.
In its first edition in 2013 Signal attracted around 250,000 visitors from all over the world. It is a platform to display light art and upcoming technologies in the Czech Republic.

The exhibition will enliven the areas such as the Fruit Market, Old Town Square, Hybernia Palace and Kampa. Modern day audiovisual art will enchant the viewers through the historical centre of Prague for four evenings. Artists from the Czech Republic, such as David Cerný and Petr Nikl, and abroad will showcase their installations at the festival.
The festival is held in the evening and is free for all but some parts will require special glasses for viewing certain lights.
