Dance 2013 Bohemia – International Folklore Festival
Dance 2013 Bohemia, an International Folklore Festival is entering its ninth edition this year with a 4-day long joyous celebration of dance and merry making.
The second last week of August will have folk ensembles from around the world come together to represent their cultures and perform to the delight of Pražans and visitors.
The festival is open to all amateur folklore ensembles, no matter what their size or age limit. There would be two performances, one in Prague while the other will take place in the spa town Podebrady, situated 50 kilometres east of Prague.
Dance 2013 Bohemia is in the efforts of collaboration with Folklore Association of the Czech Republic who have their own event Prazsky Jarmark organized from 28th August to 1st September, 2013. They might accommodate a third performance of the folk ensembles at Prazsky Jarmark, if required.
The dates of Dance 2013 Bohemia are Thursday, 22nd August to Sunday 25th August, 2013.
