Afro-Bailar Multicultural Festival
The 3rd year of the Afro-Bailar Festival is being held once again in Prague, from 1st November to 4th November 2012. As the name suggests, the festival will collectively showcase the diversity of African-inspired music and dance styles.
Many international dancers, singers, and teachers are arriving in Prague to conduct interactive dance workshops in a variety of styles. From beginners to the advanced, everyone is welcome to attend these group lessons.
The workshops will take place in afternoons, where students will learn different dance and musical forms such as Afro & Latino, Arabic, Fitness, Indian, Urban, African and Fine Art. In the evening various events like live concerts, parties, and fashion shows are held to give the students a chance to practice the dance moves they have learned in their workshops.
There will also be a vernissage and open market for students to buy clothes, dance shoes, and accessories or support a charity of their choice.
